Luis Carlos Montalván and Tuesday at McNally Robinson Saskatoon

Thursday, Aug 30, 2012 at 3:09pm

New York Times bestselling author Luis Carlos Montalván visited McNally Robinson Saskatoon this week to speak about his book Until Tuesday: A Wounded Warrior and the Golden Retriever Who Saved Him (Hyperion).

Capt. Montalván and his service dog Tuesday were in Saskatoon to participate in the One Health Leadership Experience on the University of Saskatchewan campus. Montalván & Tuesday frequently lecture about books and articles they've written in a effort to educate the public about trauma and the real experiences of veterans and people with disabilities -- to help empower them on the journey of healing. A major motion picture about their story is presently in production for release in 2013.
