McNally Robinson presents Chuck Palahniuk, in conversation with Eye Weekly's Brian Joseph Davis about Pygmy, Palahniuk's latest book. The following footage was filmed during Chuck's sold-out reading in Toronto in May. While visiting our store, Chuck was interviewed by The National Post in Prairie Ink Restaurant & Bakery. Jo Ellen Bogart Pays Us a Visit

Jo Ellen Bogart, author of the children's book Big and Small, Room for All, recently paid a visit to our Toronto location. There she read from her book and delivered a stellar audiovisual presentation. The event was later blogged on the website of her publisher, Tundra Books, complete with some great pictures of the presentation and signing.

An Interview with Robert J. Sawyer

Internationally renowned and award winning Science Fiction author Robert J. Sawyer will be spending two months (June and July) as the very first Writer In Residence at the Canadian Light Source Synchrotron (CLS) here in Saskatoon and will be the very first Writer in Residence at a Synchrotron anywhere in the world. He will be doing a reading and signing of his newest novel, Wake, at McNally Robinson in Saskatoon at 7:30 pm on June 4.

His newest novel Wake, the first book in a trilogy about the spontaneous emergence of consciousness by the world wide web launched in April and at the end of April it was announced that a television series based on his 1999 novel Flashforward will premiere on ABC in the Fall. Robert took some time out of his extremely busy schedule to answer a few questions about his Writer in Residency, Wake and Flashforward.

An Interview with Anthony Bidulka

Aloha, Candy Hearts, the 6th book in Anthony Bidulka's award winning and wildly popular Russell Quant Mystery series hit shelves this month. Anthony kindly took time out of his busy writing and promotion schedule, he is launching Aloha, Candy Hearts on May 26 in Saskatoon and on June 1 in Winnipeg, in order to answer some email questions I had about his writing process, his series and Russell Quant himself.
