Recorded at the end of a twoweek run at Birdland, the music on this album represents one of the most influential groups in music history both performing in a musical style it had perfected and reaching in new directions that were to affect the trajectory of jazz. Diana Krall's 13th studio album celebrates Jazz and the Great American Songbook, reuniting her with Grammy Award-winning producer, Tommy LiPuma. Krall is the only jazz singer to have eight albums debut at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. Yet again McNally Robinson Booksellers will be taking part in Record Store Day's Black Friday event on November 25th, 2016.
As with any RSD, we will be selling unique and limited edition vinyl available only at indie music sellers such as us. Stock will be limited for each title, and all RSD products will be available first-come-first-serve. For best selection, we suggest you arrive at 9:00 AM when the store opens.
