Wraithlands Rpg
-
Hardcover
$41.00
Reader Reward Price: $36.90
On the haar-shrouded isle of Nullona, by the order of the Underkirk Lairds, death is forbidden. The afterlife is sealed shut with all its ghosts. The old gods slumber in their graves. And in Gaolanark, a smog-bitten city of iron and granite, thousands of spirits clad in heavy chains carry out the Underkirk's eternal labour. None escape this fate, except you. You are a Wraith, cursed or blessed by the misty Haar to die and be reborn, in violation of Underkirk Law. Your memories are hazy but one thing is clear: there are things on this island more powerful than even the Underkirk, should you have the temerity (or the foolishness) to wield them. WRAITHLANDS is a lo-fi, rules-light pen-and-paper adventure game and a complete system-neutral setting guide to the cursed celtic isle of Nullona. Written by Leckie, art by Paul Jon Milne. It is a love letter to classic weird setting books inspired by 80s Slaine comics, heavy metal album covers, and the isles of Scotland. 160 pages, fully illustrated, black and white hardback. Includes a hex map of 144 locations & encounters covering the entire isle of Nullona - a cult of statues, a dismembered god, toffs hunting spirits on horseback, a kelpie colossus, the fracking of heaven - amounting to many campaigns worth of dark fantasy adventure.

Typeset Game
-
Games & Puzzles
$35.00
Reader Reward Price: $31.50
This is a love letter to the creativity and fluidity of words, as well as printmaking and typesetting tradition. Simply put: Place letters in order from left to right, using vowels as needed, to try to make the words as long as you can. Use wild letters and errors to manipulate your luck, and eventually declare you are finished... or push-your-luck with more letters.
TYPESET is a puzzling word game for 1 - 6 players where you build words and take risks. Score the most points by creating the longest words, but be careful- you must ‘load’ each letter in from left to right, committing early to possible words that may be harder to finish later. Combos allow for some freedom in getting the letters you want, as well as rule-bending special abilities that you can use to your advantage.
Play solo or simultaneously, and see who can be the best printmaker.

Delta Green Rpg God's Law
-
Trade paperback
$31.00
Reader Reward Price: $27.90
A shockingly, unnaturally gruesome death brings your Agents to Los Angeles. Their investigation quickly brings them into contact with the massive Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, long recognized by federal agencies and civilian whistleblowers as one of the most corrupt institutions in the country. One of the many criminal gangs that work as deputies has a particular interest in the Agents’ pursuits. A gang that met the unnatural and began twisting older, deeper laws towards the tired avarice of police corruption. They expected the usual complicity at every level of government. Instead, they find Delta Green. The question for the Agents is not whether they face the rot of the unnatural. It’s how far the rot spreads. And how deadly the response will be when they start burning it out. “Delta Green: God’s Law” is playable with “Delta Green: The Role-Playing Game,” available from Arc Dream Publishing. Optionally, it makes a perfect companion to the acclaimed campaign “Delta Green: God’s Teeth.”
Cybermetal 2012 Rpg
-
Hardcover
$58.00
Reader Reward Price: $52.20
CyberMetal 2012 is a roleplaying game of demons, metalheads, and weirdos surviving and thriving in an isolated city of warped technology in an alternate timeline featuring tons of analog ink illustrations, intuitive dice mechanics for fans of Mothership® or Blades in the Dark, fascinatingly weird worldbuilding, and much more. Cybermetal 2012 runs on a quick and efficient d100/2d10 system that feels intuitive for any experienced roleplayer but is easy to learn for newcomers too. When a character wants to do something difficult, awesome, or particularly interesting, they roll d100 hoping to get equal to or under a given Skill Threshold to determine success/failure. The player chooses one of their d10 and assigns it as the amount of damage they give/battery charge they lose with their chosen action. The remaining d10 determines the Fallout, or how things get better or worse for the gang from there. Items, social standing, faction interactions, assistance, and more can affect these variables, allowing players the opportunity to get clever and skew things in their favor while still allowing casual players compelling options with dynamic results. Different Hardware (physical body), Operating Systems (role/class), and swappable Software (momentary specialty or sub-class) give players varied abilities that bend these basic rules, as well as offering specialized gear, unique contacts, social responsibilities, and more, making every character decision an interesting one with tons of story potential attached.

Desert Moon of Karth is a space western sandbox adventure zine for the Mothership® Sci-Fi Horror RPG.
Now updated to Mothership 1E!
"One sits down on a desert sand dune, sees nothing, hears nothing. Yet through the silence something throbs, and gleams..."
— Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Karth is a tiny mesa studded moon on the galaxy's edge. The only way down is an antique space elevator to the lawless boomtown of Larstown; a place surrounded by even greater danger and strangeness in the wastes beyond. Survival or salvation is not guaranteed, partner.
Harvest ossified coral corpses to live forever. Become an involuntary organ donor. Dodge ancient orbital defenses. Explore sand blown ruins. Hunt the fearsome sandsquid. Ride camels through the dunes. Drink whisky until you’ve forgotten your own name.
Karth's inspirations include Dune, Firefly, Alien, John Carter of Mars, Cowboy Bebop, The Dark Tower, spaghetti westerns, and modern adventures like Hot Springs Island, A Pound of Flesh, Ultraviolet Grasslands, and Slumbering Ursine Dunes.
You'll find plenty to use for your other sci-fi RPG of choice like Stars Without Number, Traveler, or Starfinder with a touch of back alley stat surgery.
Desert Moon of Karth is 52 pages, chock full of evocative illustrations and also includes:
10 detailed and dangerous locations to explore including a ship graveyard, camel ranch, organic coral caves, and a decadent shattered spire.
Regional Moon Map and rules for point crawling navigation.
Detailed Larstown map, rumors, NPC’s, prospective jobs, and fine establishments.
4 volatile factions for players to interact with including immortal organ harvesters, tribal park rangers, extinct coral beings, and a colonial boomtown of prospectors.
Evolving encounters based on the day/night cycle (and it’s sometimes night for a week).
Tons of 1d10 tables ranging from creepy prayers, to strange technology, to requested organs, to random drugs.
Rules for sandsquid hunting and a dungeon crawl within one, should you be devoured.
3 detailed dungeon maps, 8 new creatures, the dark secrets of eternal youth and more!
"Man this is like a living breathing planet, I love this little western town. This is adventures within adventures, each page alone seems like it could be an adventure in itself. Oh it's so beautiful, I just want to play it so bad."
—Alan Gerding, Tuesday Knight Games
"Looks really good! It's very well made, the art is really nice, layout is great, and there's lots of stuff to adventure in here. It gives you tons of material to just travel around this tiny moon."
—Ben Milton, Questing Beast
Lichcraft Rpg
-
Trade paperback
$20.00
Reader Reward Price: $18.00
A breakout success in the the UK.
Nominated for Polygon's top Indie RPGs of 2020, and many more.
Back in print and as relevant as ever, this breakout game by designer Laurie O'Connel is set in a fantasy United Kingdom. Here, you play transgender necomrancers, seeking immortality in order to get to the end of a 300 year long NHS (National Health Service) waiting list.
This is a game about spite, necromancy, and being queer. Although the game itself deals with serious themes, it is set up to be tongue-in-cheek, satirical, and intimate.
Lichcraft is a rules-light tabletop RPG set up to be played with 2 or more players. The play is inspired by Forged in the Dark systems, with a simple D6-pool resolution mechanic. Instead of choosing classes or players, characters begin by choosing their politics, hobby, day job, and magical source, and use attributes from these to add to their dice rolls.
"The Year is 2069. The setting is Great Britain. The Tories have been in power since 2010.
Due to National Health Service cuts, trans healthcare has become increasingly hard to access. The waiting list for a first appointment at a gender identity clinic is now 300 years. They don’t want to outright refuse you; that would imply that the health service is over capacity or underfunded. Instead they will simply add you to the end of the list and wait for you to die.
But they are fools. For you have learned the secrets of immortality. And you will get to the end of that waiting list, even if it means waiting another millennium..."

Night's Black Agents Rpg
-
Hardcover
$46.00
Reader Reward Price: $41.40
A new GUMSHOE Game from Kenneth Hite, author of Trail of Cthulhu.
The Cold War is over. Bush’s War is winding down.
You were a shadowy soldier in those fights, trained to move through the secret world: deniable and deadly.
Then you got out, or you got shut out, or you got burned out. You didn’t come in from the cold. Instead, you found your own entrances into Europe’s clandestine networks of power and crime. You did a few ops, and you asked even fewer questions. Who gave you that job in Prague? Who paid for your silence in that Swiss account? You told yourself it didn’t matter.
It turned out to matter a lot. Because it turned out you were working for vampires.
Vampires exist. What can they do? Who do they own? Where is safe? You don’t know those answers yet. So you’d better start asking questions. You have to trace the bloodsuckers’ operations, penetrate their networks, follow their trail, and target their weak points. Because if you don’t hunt them, they will hunt you. And they will kill you.
Or worse.
Night’s Black Agents brings the GUMSHOE engine to the spy thriller genre, combining the propulsive paranoia of movies like Ronin and The Bourne Identity with supernatural horror straight out of Bram Stoker. Investigation is crucial, but it never slows down the action, which explodes with expanded options for bone-crunching combat, high-tech tradecraft, and adrenaline-fueled chases.
Updating classic Gothic terrors for the postmodern age, Night’s Black Agents presents thoroughly modular monstrosity: GMs can build their own vampires, mashup their own minions, kitbash their own conspiracies to suit their personal sense of style and story. Rules options let you set the level of betrayal, grit, and action in your game. Riff from the worked examples or mix and match vampiric abilities, agendas, and assets for a completely custom sanguinary spy saga.
The included hook adventure gets the campaign going; the included city setting shows you what might be clotting in Marseilles’ veins even now. Rack silver bullets in your Glock, twist a UV bulb into your Maglite, and keep watching the mirrors … and pray you’ve got your vampire stories straight.
