No Context Game

- Skybound

65 $32.00
Reader Reward Price: $28.80

In No Context, you'll be making connections using random art from the fabulous webcomic creator Mr. Lovenstein!

At the start of the game, each player will be assigned one of up to 7 target images that they are trying to get everyone else to guess to secure some sweet, SWEET points! These images are selected from some of the most unforgettable panels of Mr. Lovenstein's catalog.

On their turn, players will select another panel from those available in the comparison row and place it in one of their section of the board's spaces. They will place the card with the green check mark side face up to indicate their target image is like this card in some way, or with the red x side up saying that their target image is unlike this card in some way. Each player will be able to do this process 3 times to give some guidance to the other players for guessing.

However, at any point if a player feels confident they know what target image card belongs to another player, they may place their corresponding numbered bet card face down in that players bet spot. Players only have one copy for each space so make sure to bide your time or know the risks if you go sooner.

Once all bets are in, players will take turns revealing the guesses made about their card and what card was actually theirs. Correct bets get points in the order they were placed so those who wait too long may miss out on points even if they were correct. Be ready to explain yourself after the round is done as hearing the thoughts behind why your friends made the connections they did is the funniest part of the game!

Superfight 500 Card Core Deck [C]

- Skybound Games

65 $39.00
Reader Reward Price: $35.10

Superfight (2013) Set your hero on the stage, and argue why they'd win the fight. 3-20 Players 15 Min Age: 8+ Superfight is party game of super powers and super problems. The game is all about arguing with your friends about ridiculous fights. The core deck contains 500 cards. 160 characters (white cards), and 340 powers and weaknesses (black cards). Players use a hand of three white cards and three black cards, and choose one of each to beat the player next to them. Then they get a random black card before fighting. Players then argue their case for why they should win, and the table votes. Note: Superfight went through a major reprint in late 2014. The rules and about 30% of the cards were refined to improve the game after it sold out of its original print runs. The Cards Against Humanity/Apples to Apples mechanism has been replaced by a table vote and one-one one battles, but the battle royale and villain rulesets keep the old single-judge mechanism if the table prefers it.

Trial by Trolley

- Skybound Games

65 $32.00
Reader Reward Price: $28.80

In Trial by Trolley, one player acts as the Trolley Operator and must choose where to send a murderous, out of control, trolley. Every other player at the table plays cards and argues in order to convince the operator to spare their lives and condemn everyone on the other track to a gruesome death-by-trolley.   Each round, one player will act as the trolley conductor. This person will be the judge, and will choose which track the trolley will murder. Each other player is divided evenly among teams, and each player(s) will have a role for the round.   To begin, one player will draw 3 angelic tracks, choose one to play to the table, and then randomly reveal a 2nd angelic track from the deck to add to the track. Another player will draw 3 demonic tracks, and choose to add one to the opposing teams track, attempting to sabotage them, and spare their own tracks. Finally, player(s) will draw track modifiers to place on any track card on the table. They can play on their own tracks, to sway the judge, or they may play on their opponents, to further sway the judge into murdering their opponent's track.   The judge will ponder this conundrum, and eventually decide to murder one track. The track that was spared is the winner for the round! Play continues for a number of rounds pre-determined by the number of players at the table.   Number of Players: 3-13
Playing Time: 30-90 Minutes
