Brian Baggett is the only Chapman Stick performer in Saskatchewan, showcasing masterful original compositions and colourfully arranged standards from various genres. The Chapman Stick is a 10-string ‘touchboard’ guitar created by Emmett Chapman in 1974 to embody a two-handed upright guitar technique Chapman discovered in 1969.

Brian Baggett's new recording ‘Bookmarks’ (available October 25) is his third full length CD, which features Baggett's exotic reinterpretations of cover songs from jazz, rock, and pop standards, as well as a few original pieces. Baggett’s previous recording ‘First Contact’ (2016) landed on Earshot Magazine’s Top 20 Monthly Jazz charts for September and October 2016.
