Shen Braun is a fantasy writer who can’t convince himself not to dabble in science fiction. He has had his short fiction published in the Aurora-winning On Spec Magazine and the Aurora-nominated anthologies Tesseracts 15 and Shanghai Steam. Raised in small-town Manitoba, he currently resides in Brandon with his family and far too many plants.
David J. Fortier grew up in Winnipeg reading adventure classics and epic fantasies over the long winters. A true geek, he loves board games, superhero movies, video games, D&D, and comics. Naturally, his whiskey preference is rye, though he will not scoff at fine bourbon or Scotch. He writes sword & sorcery, heroic fantasy, and a touch of other speculative fiction. Oh, and pirates over ninjas.
Patrick Johanneson writes science fiction & fantasy. His work has been published in InterText, Ecclectica, On Spec, Tesseracts 14, and Daily Science Fiction. He won the Manitoba Short Fiction contest in ‘04. Other fascinations include teaching and learning judo, in which he holds a 2nd-degree black belt; volunteering as webmaster & projectionist at the Evans Theatre, which showcases Canadian and indie cinema; and Norse mythology. His day job as Brandon University’s Web Coordinator allows him to indulge his love of WordPress development. He lives in Brandon with his wife Kathleen. Il sait parler français, mais...lentement.
