is an associate professor of surgical oncology, department of small animal clinical sciences, at the University of Florida. She studied veterinary medicine at the University of Saskatchewan and has practiced in various parts of Canada, the US and New Zealand. She lives in Gainesville, Florida, with her husband, and their dog Rumble and cat Romeow.
