Harvey Award Winners Announced
Thursday, Oct 02, 2008 at 12:47pmThe Harvey Awards, one of the comic industry's most venerable prizes, were awarded over the weekend of September 27th-28th at the Baltimore Comic Convention.
Since 1988, the Harveys have been presented to those creators who receive the most votes from their industry peers. DC Comics managed a sweep of the top five categories: All Star Superman won the Best Continuing or Limited Series prize, won the Best Writer prize for Y: The Last Man, won the Best Artist award for his work on All Star Superman, received the award for Best Cartoonist for The Spirit, and All Star Superman #8 was awarded Best Single Issue or Story.
