Shannara, the Graphic Novel

long-running fantasy series is set to expand into new media. A multi-picture movie deal was announced recently, and then on March 25 Del Rey released the original graphic novel Dark Wraith of Shannara.
Over at the comic news website Newsarama, you will find interviews with Brooks, Robert Napton (who adapted story), and artist Edwin David.
