Clapton set to release autobiography

After countless books on the man, Eric Clapton himself will tell the true story, no-holds barred, about his lifetime in the music spotlight. Perhaps in response to his ex wife Pattie Boyd's newest book "Wonderful Tonight", Clapton is ready to break his silence.
In conjunction with the book's release, Warner Music will release a 2cd retrospective of his music. Clapton's fans will get thier fill on October 9th, when both the cd and book hit the streets.
