Thin Air 2013: Winnipeg International Writers Festival

THIN AIR 2013 is Winnipeg's week-long book club! Starting tomorrow, September 20th, and running until the 28th, you are encouraged exult in a city-wide flurry of readings, talks, interviews, and discussions by top-notch writers of all genres and styles. Gail Bowen, Wayne Grady, Susan Delacourt, Lee Maracle, Michel Cormier -- the list goes on and on!

THIN AIR 2013 kicks off September 20th with an Opening Night celebration of indigenous voices at CCFM. Over the following eight days enjoy A Pint of Bitter Murder, a Haiku Death Match, Voices From Oodena at The Forks, Afternoon Book Chats at McNally Robinson Booksellers Grant Park, The Nooner and Big Ideas series at the Millenium Library, and of course the signature Mainstage evenings at MTYP. THIN AIR also has a dynamic French-language series, Livres en fête, a busy Campus Program, a Writing Craft seminar with Andrew Pyper, lively Spoken Word, plus plenty of events for young readers.
