Griffin Poetry Prize Winners Announced

The Griffin Poetry Prize Winners were announced in Toronto on June 3rd. The Canadian winner is Karen Solie for her book Pigeon and the International winner is Eilean Ni Chuilleanain for her book The Sun-Fish. Both winners received a cash prize of $65, 000.

As in previous years, an anthology of the Griffin Poetry Prize Shortlist has been published by House of Anansi Press for 2010 and is now available. Royalties generated from the book are donated to UNESCO's World Poetry Day.
