Letter Jam is a 2-6 player cooperative word game where players assist each other in composing meaningful words from letters around the table. The twist is that you hold the letter card so that it’s only visible to other players!
By declaring words you know can be spelled with the other players' cards, in turn, the group slowly collects clues as to what their letters are. The longest words successfully found grant points to the group. A fun new way to twist your brain. Simple to learn and a blast to play again and improve at clues at guesses. Recommended with as close to maximum players as you can get, truly the more the merrier!

Check out these two sets for young gamers! Personally recommended by our game experts and their families.
Snow Snow is a gorgeous co-op game that challenges players to help four snowmen across a melting river. Rolling a die, move each snowman piece by piece across the ice, but watch out! If you roll a sun, one ice piece melts away. Beautiful 3D snowmen and a fun theme make this a great game to teach children to take turns and make choices while winning or losing together! $40. Reader Reward Card applies.
Zombie Kidz Evolution is the first "legacy"-style game for kids, with basic gameplay to start but things will quickly evolve! Take on the role of children defending their school against zombies. Like many video games, achievements in play actually unlock new content! Envelopes included in the game are opened to reveal new rules and twists. Perfect for multi-age families, where the younger ones can benefit from the slow adding of rules and older kids (and parents!) can push for special achievements! $30. Reader Reward Card applies.Categories: Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Games
This holiday season, we have two recommendations for the gamers on your list.
First is Planet. In Planet, each player receives a planet core without anything on it. Each turn, players choose a tile with mountain / ice / forest / desert on it and place it on the planet. The magnetic planet core lets the tiles stick on in a satisfying pattern as you carry your whole world in your hand while trying to create the best environment for the various animal cards. Biodiversity is the key to victory! $49.00.
Our second pick is Detective Club, a party game for 4 to 8 players. A clue giver picks a word and, in turn, all players play fantastically illustrated cards with a link to the word. But one player is left in the dark, and must bluff along without knowing the word. Easy to pick up and fun to play at whatever gathering you find yourself! $52.00.
Reader Reward Card applies to all game purchases. To see some of our other game recommendations, check out this page.Categories: Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Games
Dude is a game where you say dude. By and large, that is all you do. Is it smart? dude. Strategic? dude? Fun? DUDE!!!!!
In short, this silly little game involves swapping and collecting cards much like the classic Pit game, but every card is simply the word "Dude" with a different appearance. Giggle at yourself and friends as you try and understand if "dood" means "dewd", or if their "DUDE" actually matches your "Duuude".
More Dude follows the same premise, only this time characters are added to the cards. How would a robot say dude? Or a cowboy? A surfer?
Either game can be played alone, or you can mix Dude and More Dude together to make one very sweet game.
3-6 players, ages 13+. Playing time 1-5 minutes.Categories: Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Games
The Table Is Lava presents players with a simple challenge: Toss cards onto the table to save your meeples, while trying to knock other players' pieces into the lava at the same time. If you have the most survivors, you win.
A great game for beginners, but certainly a lot of fun for even seasoned gamers!
For 2 to 4 players. Playing time 20 minutes. Ages 10 & up.Categories: Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Games
