The winners of the 28th annual Lambda Literary Awards, which honour the best LGBTQ books of 2015, were announced earlier this week.
Chinelo Okparanta won the Best Lesbian Fiction Award for her novel, Under the Udala Trees, and the Best Gay Fiction Award went to Hasan Namir for his novel, God in Pink. Meanwhile the Best Bisexual Fiction was awarded to Anna North for The Life and Death of Sophie Stark, and Roz Kaveney won Best Transexual Fiction for Tiny Pieces of Skull, or a Lesson in Manners.
But of course that's only the tip of the iceberg, as the Lambda Literary Awards include a long list of honours. For the full list of winners, visit the Lamdba Literary Award website.
