About this Author
Andy McGuire is editorial director of Bethany House, where he has worked for fifteen years. Andy also writes and illustrates children's books and has been either the author or illustrator of thirteen books ranging from read-alouds to middle grade fiction. South African artist and illustrator Carol Langley works in various media ranging from oil painting and charcoal sketching to sculpture and digital media. Her work is inspired by the intimate details and the sweeping expanses of the African environment. She makes her home in the vibrant city of Johannesburg with her husband Mark, two small but busy children, and a pair of smaller, busier pugs. You will find Carol at her happiest away from the bustling city, sketching and painting on the deck of her family home in the wilderness of the Lowveld.
