About this Author
Jane Ormes is a printmaker with a passion for pattern and the absurd. She grew up in Germany, Cyprus and Buckinghamshire and studied Surface Pattern Design at Leicester Polytechnic, graduating in 1987. She is now a freelance designer and printmaker, exhibiting her screen prints at galleries throughout the countries. Jane has worked with a number of high-profile clients, including IKEA, Marks & Spencer and John Lewis, and once spotted one of her card designs on the desk during the Queen's Christmas Day speech. She currently lives in Bristol with her family and two blind cats, keeping a loft studio at the Spike Print Studio on the waterfront.
