Evan Wall is a bright, mischievous, small-town "tough guy" from Shellbrook, Saskatchewan whose life changes irrevocably after a car accident leaves him with a traumatic brain injury. Having to relearn how to talk, eat, walk, and all other "normal" bodily functions, Evan no longer feels like the strong "Brick Wall" of his high school football days. With his coordination and speech permanently damaged, he must also deal with the new phenomenon of ableism and living in a world designed for able-bodied persons. Refusing to give up, Evan's wit and sense of humour hold strong as he reinvents himself and sets new goals for his future, inspiring and teaching others along the way.
