Mark Sampson's Weathervane is a book of lyric poetry that deals with the weather and its unpredictability due to climate change. Intensely personal and highly charged, these poems explore locales such a South Korea and Nova Scotia while presenting a unified view of a shifting world.
About this Author
Mark Sampson?s poetry has appeared in This magazine, FreeFall, The Nashwaak Review, QWERTY, and Toronto Poetry Vendors, among other places. In 2012, he won The Puritan?s inaugural Thomas Morton Memorial Award for Literary Excellence in the poetry category. He has also published two novels and a collection of short stories. Originally from PEI, he now lives and writes in Toronto. Weathervane is his first poetry collection.
