Description

Carolyn GrayÕs vivid work is at once dark and illuminating, slipping beneath the veneer of WinnipegÕs iconic North Main strip, where and unlikely cast of characters finds a haven for their addictions to play out in full force. Set in Winnipeg Ônext yearÕ, Stella Dupree is both condemned for her out-of-control gambling and given increasing access to it. Following Stella into this nightmare world: one of her angry robbery victims, a misguided saviour and a mysterious stalker.
