Reviews

Empowering and engagingly written, I Am Ace cuts through the madness and chaos of being an asexual person just discovering yourself. With generosity and enthusiasm, not to mention clear-eyed insights about the nature of sexuality and social norms, Cody Daigle-Orians invites readers not to be afraid of uncertainty, change and deep self-reflection. I can already tell this book is going to help so many people, and I just want to get it into the hands of baby aces everywhere, immediately!

I Am Ace is the loving introduction to the ace community we wish we had when we were younger. Whether you're questioning your sexuality or just curious to learn more about asexuality, Cody's personal stories and comforting advice will guide you to a greater understanding of yourself and the world around you.

the most in-depth and most validating, affirming book for any asexual to read

Written like a letter from an old friend, I Am Ace takes the reader on a journey towards confidence in discussing and proudly owning their asexuality. Both educational and conversational, Daigle-Orians has completed a guide on self discovery and understanding that simplifies a complex topic and that will benefit allos, aces, and everyone in between.

Cody paints a wonderful picture of the struggles of coming to terms with one's own asexuality. I related greatly to the idea of not even having words for this stuff when I was in high school. You don't have to feel broken and you certainly don't have to feel confused! This book is an absolutely wonderful resource for understanding what doesn't get talked about anywhere near enough.
