Who could possibly know their city better than a guidebook author? With a degree in modern and classical Chinese from London's School of Oriental and African Studies, Damian has written on China travel for over 20 years, working as managing author of the best-selling Lonely Planet China guide since 2001. Lauren Keith is a digital nomad, guidebook author and travel writer specializing in London + the Middle East and North Africa but covering destinations around the world. A graduate of the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas, she's developed a passion for international travel and shining the spotlight on off-the-beaten-track and underloved places and stories.
