About this Author
Gerrit Vyn is a Portland, Oregon-based photographer deeply committed to conservation. His images have appeared regularly in books and magazines including National Geographic, Audubon, Living Bird, BBC Wildlife, Natural History, National Wildlife, and The New York Times .
