She is adjunct faculty at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and an award-winning clinician in the Washington, DC, area. Elisa is author of The Grit Workbookfor Kids and Your Amazing Teen Brain.

Foreword writer Matthew McKay, PhD, is a professor at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA.
