Steve Metzger is the author of Yes, I Can Listen!. He taught preschool for several years, then worked at Scholastic, where he ran school book clubs and created more than 60 children's books. He lives in New York City. Janan Cain is a freelance designer and illustrator. She is the author and illustrator of The Way I Feel and Roonie B. Moonie. She lives in Chicago.
