About this Author
Smriti Halls is an award-winning, critically acclaimed children's author whose books have been published in more than forty languages. South Indian by birth, British by nationality and London-loving by heart, Smriti lives near Richmond Park with her husband and their three sons, reading, writing and eating iced buns.
Chaaya Prabhat is an illustrator and lettering artist originally from Chennai, India. She has worked on a number of picture books and nonfiction projects, including The Culture of Clothes, The Best Diwali Ever, and Hide-and-Seek History: The Egyptians. She has worked on numerous book covers for publishers such as Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Hachette, Macmillan, and Disney Hyperion, as well as Snapchat, Facebook and Google on digital illustration projects. Chaaya currently lives in Goa, India.
