Frostgrave
Advanced Spellcraft

Description
The largest Frostgrave supplement to date, Advanced Spellcraft vastly increases the variety of magic than can be used during the game and contains both solo and competitive campaigns. The wizards of today are but pale reflections of their ancestors who ruled ancient Felstad. This has now changed with the recent discovery of the lost Necrotic Library. For in those dark catacombs, the ancient librarians were interred, each clutching a rare magical tome. Who knows what strange energies have seeped from those mystic texts over the passing centuries or what shadows and ghosts stalk the tenebrous passageways. Only those obsessed with magical lore would dare venture down to find out. Advanced Spellcraft offers numerous new rules and ideas for bringing greater magical possibilities to games of Frostgrave. Each of the basic spells is shown here with specific rules for critical successes and critical failures when casting. Additionally, each spell now has enhancements' that wizards can learn, allowing them to modify a spell to suit a specific purpose or need, such as bringing creating a Furious Quill that can jump from target to target. Of course, using such enhancements is draining, and to even learn such secrets will require venturing into the Necrotic Library to find the ancient texts. This book also includes two campaigns set in those grim catacombs, one for solo play and one for competitive games. Presented in celebration of Frostgrave's 10th Anniversary, Advanced Spellcraft is the largest supplement to date and one that gives wizards hundreds of new magical tricks to play on their enemies.
