About this Author
Kenneth Grahame was born in 1859 in Edinburgh, Scotland, and moved to Berkshire, England, as a young child. In 1900, his son was born, and Grahame made up stories to tell him at bedtime. These stories eventually turned into The Wind in the Willows, a story that has been beloved by children for ages.
