Raising an “I Love Math Kid” -

Parents are their children’s first teachers. Beginning when they are toddlers, parents can teach their children to enjoy Mathematics. Celia will discuss the latest research on how children first learn about early numbers and the developmental levels all children go through as they make sense of numbers. She will share simple activities and games parents can do with their children to support the mathematics they are learning in school. The teaching of mathematics has changed since parents were in school. Parents will come away from the presentation having the confidence to raise an “I Love Math kid”.
3 sessions are offered for parents depending on the age of your child. This session is for Grades 3 & $ students.

Cost:$20 for one Monday class
