Art & Style of Anime & Manga

Japanese comic books, or manga, have become increasingly popular with North American audiences.
In this class, the aspiring mangaka (comic book artist) will learn the fundamentals of this popular art form. Students will learn essential drawing techniques using various media including markers, pencil crayon, paint, and India ink. While the focus of this class will be on developing their artistic skills, the students will have the option of creating their own graphic novels.
Ages 9 – 15.
August 13th through 17th Monday to Friday
9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Cost: $100 for five days
