Creative Writing Tips from an Editor

From the perspective of an editor who has worked with writers of fiction, non-fiction, memoirs and histories, there are certain writing practices that can enhance the experience of both the writer and the reader. This course will focus on five of those practices. Participants will be able to experiment with these new approaches in class and then return to their writing desks at home to apply what they've gleaned. During the final class of this three-session course, participants will have the opportunity to read a short piece of their creative writing that illustrates the incorporation of one or more of the practices focused on in the course.
