Peter Straub Inks Graphic Novel Deal

Bestselling author, Peter Straub has signed a deal with Vertigo Comics, an imprint of DC Comics to co-author an original graphic novel with actor/screenwriter Michael Easton. The project, entitled The Green Woman, was announced at Book Expo America, on June 1st 2007.


John W. Campbell Nominees Announced

The finalists for the John W. Campbell Award for the best science fiction novel of 2006 have been announced. Unlike the other major science fiction awards the Hugo and the Nebula, the John W. Campbell is selected by a jury. Last year Canada's Robert J. Sawyer won the award for his novel Mindscan.
