It is with great pleasure that McNally Robinson Booksellers announces the winners of it's 3rd annual grade 5-6 writing contest. We received a record number of entries this year and for that we thank you. Some were scary in a funny way, some had a real sense of time and place, others were wonderfully researched, and all were a genuine attempt to tell a great Canadian story. The best ones did all the above, and made our spines tingle as well! To those whose entries were not finalists, a special thank you. Keep on writing - perhaps one day you may find something you wrote on our store shelves!Categories: Winnipeg, Event News, Contests and Giveaways
