Join for an entertaining reading of her picture book, The Pirate and the Penguin in an event for kids aged 4 and up.
Loosely based on the classic story of The Prince and the Pauper, The Pirate and the Penguin puts a humorous, modern spin on a familiar tale.
Penguin is not your typical Antarctic bird and Pirate is not your average swashbuckling buccaneer. It seems appropriate, then, that author-illustrator is going to present this picture book in an altogether atypical manner!
Dressed from head to toe as Pirate and Penguin, Patricia and her husband Guy will act out — not just read — the story. At the end of the skit, Patricia will give a short pirate and penguin drawing demonstration. Kids will then be invited to participate in the “Are you a pirate or penguin?” poll and pose for a photo with Patricia and Guy!
