Join us for an evening with Sandra Chu, talking about The Men Who Killed Me: Rwandan Survivors of Sexual Violence, a book she worked on with co-editor Anne-Marie de Brouwer and photographer Samer Muscati. The Men Who Killed Me features stories and testimonials from seventeen survivors who bear witness to the crimes committed against hundreds of thousands of others during the Rwandan Genocide of 1994. Proceeds from this book will go to Mukomeze, a charitable organization established to improve the lives of girls and women who survived sexual violence in the Rwandan genocide.

Sandra Chu is a senior policy analyst with the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network. There, she works to promote the human rights of people living with, and vulnerable to, HIV and continues to advocate for the rights of women in the context of HIV/AIDS.
