Robert Shewchuk has spent the past 15 years obsessed with finding ways to help young adults select rewarding careers and choose the best educational path to get there. After finishing his B.A. in 1993, he moved to Edmonton where was trained by some of Canada’s top career professionals while completing Canada’s first post-degree diploma in career development.
Now, after working in multiple career and educational roles with the Government of Alberta, University of Calgary and the Calgary Board of Education, he has decided to focus his attention on helping parents learn how to help their children choose a career here in Winnipeg and across Canada.
Careers For Kids was written to inform, advise and teach parents how to help their children find real job security; uncover their kids’ career and life potential; save as much as $25,000 in wasted tuition fees; and keep their kids from wasting their talents in low-wage jobs.
Whether you are a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle, Rob would like to invite you to learn how to help your children learn "what they want to be when they grow up". Because if you don't, who will?
