McNally Robinson for Kids and invite grade 5 and 6 students from Saskatchewan to submit an essay or story of 500 to 800 words. The story must be heroic but it may be fact or fiction. Individual entries are welcome and teachers may sponsor up to five students each.
Entries will be accepted until 11:00 pm on Friday, March 23,2012. Winners will be announced on Thursday, April 12, and prizes will be awarded at a celebration on Thursday, April 26. Prizes include McNally Robinson gift cards for the top 3 entries, and a library of the series for the winner's school library.
