A great coming-of-age book for teens, Don't Call Me Ishmael by tells the story of a 15-year-old boy who hates his name (Ishmael Leseur), public speaking (he's on the debating team), and bullies who pick on the little guy (he's the little guy). Less enthusiastic readers will like the shorter chapters and everyone will like reading about the misadventures of Ishmael, his debating team and the most influential people in the world...as represented by a large number of clothesline pegs.
