McNally Robinson celebrated the CBC Canada Reads competition with its own on Thursday, February 28th. mediated between and , each defending a book from the list. They were a dynamic bunch who offered laughs, biting remarks, insults, insight and entertainment while they discussed Canadian literature.

Last night Mcnally Robinson broke new ground by introducing its very first . The evening's events were hosted by of Valhalla Opera Tours. June offered a presentation on Macbeth, the Shakespearen play, but more fittingly, the opera by Verdi.

The Workshop Series will take place Saturday mornings at 10:30am and will give new writers the opportunity to gain advice from published writers, and perhaps even work directly with them. Come with a notepad in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other.
