The second novel in our grade 4-6 reading group was a great one, according to the popular vote this past Tuesday evening!
Victory by is a rollicking adventure that alternates between two narratives and two vastly different historical periods - one set in present day America, and the other during the Battle of Trafalgar aboard Lord Nelson's HMS Victory. Cathy, our Book Group facilitator, led the discussion of the novel and even showed the eager readers a fascinating website to add additional realistic detail to the story!
