In an interview at Newsarama it was revealed that crime writer Duane Swierczynski will be taking over writing chores on Marvel Comics' Immortal Iron Fist.

The character who emerged during the kung fu exploitation films of the seventies has recently been enjoying a renaissance under the writing team of Ed Brubaker and Matt Fraction.

Swierczynski, whose blog is often a shrine to the bygone days of the pulps and crime noir seems to be a great choice to continue the Iron Fist's adventures.

Travel Foreman will be replacing David Aja as the books regular artist.
