Rock n' Roll Inspired Gumshoe Author Has Left the Building
Okotoks author dropped by McNally Robinson Calgary last night for a short reading from his book Ruby Tuesday, the latest of his Eddie Dancer mystery novels, which continues the series' trend of borrowing its title from the lexicon of popular rock music. When questioned about this theme during the engagement the author offered a wry smile in response and said simply "Thank you for noticing." Like the book's predecessors, All Shook Up and Wild thing, Ruby Tuesday is a hard boiled private eye novel with a human touch and is certain to please all fans of the genre.
Mr. Harrison surprised customers and staff alike with an interesting approach to his reading event; the author had prepared a short skit taken from the pages of his novel to be performed by himself and a small cast comprised of members of his family.
A handful of autographed copies of Ruby Tuesday are still available at McNally Robinson Calgary. Please call (403) 538-1797 or 1-866-798-1797 to reserve or order yours!
