Ever since untimely passing in September, fans of his Wheel of Time series have been wondering: Who will write the last novel? Now we know.
, author of Elantris, Mistborn and The Well of Ascension was chosen by wife Harriet, to be the one to end the long-running series with its twelfth book: A Memory of Light.
I think will be a fine choice to finish The Wheel of Time. His novels have the same vast scope of even if their style is different. The last thing I think readers will want to see is a fawning pastiche of writing. As a young writer, who is well reviewed but a little under the public's radar, this opportunity could make career.
