Deepak Chopra talks India Authentic

Deepak Chopra was recently interviewed about his contribution to Richard Branson's Virgin Comics line, and the graphic novel India Authentic, for which he provides the foreward to each chapter wherein Chopra explains the relevance of the classic Indian myths for todays audience.

Chopra has long been lending the strength of his name to Virgin Comics, whose mandate is to showcase Indian legends and folklore to a world audience. Chopra's son Gotham is the Creative Officer for Virgin, and reintroduced his father to the comic book medium.

The India Authentic collection features a rotating cast of Indian artists, and so far has told the legends of the gods Kali, Ganesha, Shiva and Indra.
