The Adventurer's Guide to Dragons by Wade Albert White (from a Two Thumbs Up reviewer)

by McNally Robinson - Thursday, Sep 21, 2017 at 9:52pm

Ever since escaping the cruel orphanage in which they were brought up in, Anne and Penelope have done more than they have ever done within a two month period. They've fought suits of armour that moved by themselves, they have climbed mountains, managed not to be killed by huge bombs, and won an award for the Best Illegal Quest That Nearly Destroyed the Entire World. But now, they've got a new quest - to kill the Dragon Queen, even though doing this will cause a war between humans and dragons. Now Anne and Penelope must stop another person from doing just that. Only if they can survive volcanoes, mines, robots and the dragon trials, then can they fight the most difficult battle of their life. And if they fail, the world is doomed.

Get ready for dragons, robots, and an even more dangerous quest in this hilarious, unputdownable sequel to The Adventurer's Guide to Successful Escapes. Her charge: kill the dragon queen. The problem is, Anne doesn't want to kill any dragons. But the mysterious boy does, even if it means igniting a devastating war between people and dragons. The only chance Anne and the others have to stop it is to get to the queen first.
