Down in the Woods at Sleepytime, by Carole Lexa Schaefer
by lisa christine Thornton - Thursday, Nov 08, 2007 at 9:51am
Down in the Woods at Sleepytime is a classic bedtime story. All the forest creatures are getting their little ones ready for bed. The wee ones have all sorts of reasons why they should be allowed to stay up. Wise Grandma Owl flies down to read them a bedtime story and by the last page every little one in the forest is sound asleep. This book is a treasure. Beautifully illustrated, it is a wonderful read aloud for for newborns and up.
