In the Canadian Flyer Adventure Series, Emily Bling's aunt has left Emily a sled and a selection of hats. The hats are used to transport Emily and her friend Matt back in time to historical events.
In Yikes, Vikings!, Emily and Matt's adventure takes them to the time of the Vikings.They learn about the life of the Vikings. One of my favourite parts is when both of the children long for peanut butter and jam sandwiches, as all they have been eating is fish. This story is also educational. Recommended for ages 7 and up.
