Forever, or a Long, Long Time by Caela Carter (from a Two Thumbs Up reviewer)by McNally Robinson - Tuesday, Mar 14, 2017 at 3:34pm
This book is about 9-year-old Flora and 8-year-old Julian, who are siblings. They have been living in foster care for many years until a family adopts them. The kids have been living with their family for almost two years when their parents tell them they’re going to have a baby. Things fall apart while fearing for their unknown future. Julian hides food in his closet and Flora stops talking. They want to learn about their past.
This book is a story about repairing the past to fix your future. The love that the family showed one another made me feel happy. I really enjoyed this book and I hope you do too!
