Perhaps he has found the mythic thirty-six hour day the rest of us search for to accomplish all our hectic lives need done. I don't know if even that time would be enough for to accomplish everything he writes, but it would sure explain WHAT he writes.
Imagine Philip Marlowe investigating the seedy sexual underbelly of America, and you will come close to the feel of ' debut novel. McGill and his polyamorous sidekick Trix stumble cross-country in search of its "secret constitution", a near mythic relic, rumored able to drive the country back to an age of rose coloured Capra civility. Prodded along with an unlimited budget, a seemingly omniscient hand held computer and a heroin addled presidential Chief of Staff, Crooked Little Vein's characters never fail to thrill, disgust, or entertain.
