As William Gibson descended from the heavens in a customized shipping container... No, I'm not writing science fiction. Gibson recently finished his virtual reading on Second Life.
His fans had crowded the sim (the space the reading took place) so early, that the author himself needed to enter through the virtual fire escape.
Gibson read from the opening of his new novel Spook Country, the reading was followed by a short Q&A.
William Gibson will be in Winnipeg as part of the Winnipeg International Writer's Festival. He will be participating in a book chat at our Portage Place location.
